Out of curiosity, when did you come to Cola? '04, or '10?

I went to Tuscaloosa in '09, and the fans were very pleasant. At the '10 game in Columbia, most of the Bama fans were pretty quiet before the game, and the large majority had absolutely nothing to say afterward. But I do remember one exchange where some USC fans were chanting 'overrated' and rooster crowing after the game and an angry Bama fan yelled, "Hey, act like you've been there before!" One of the Carolina fans yelled back, "We haven't, so go frick yourself."

Honestly, I've had pleasant experiences all across the SEC. Don't care for the UGA fans too much, but I quit going to that game home or away several years ago. The proximity of the two schools brings a lot of undesirables into Columbia every other year, so I just skip that one.

A&M fans were the nicest/creepiest. They thanked us for beating them, shock our hands, tried to hug us, bought us shots at the bar afterwards. They were just so happy to be in the SEC...I wasnt used to this. I felt like i was in some syfy movie where everyone was brainwashed or part of some creepy cult...

We just realize at the end of the day it's just a game and no reason to be a bunch of assholes to fans. I never really had a problem in the SEC. A bartender wanted us to leave a bar in Springdale, Arkansas last year because a buddy of mine wore an A&M shirt in there, but the manager saw this and stepped up and told us we were welcome to stay. Outside of that I never really had any problems, even at LSU.
