Saban will be gone from Bama in 5 years max, maybe 3, and you can have a shot then. But just let it go.

Honestly when saban retires LSU will most likely become the class of the SEC.

Depends on who we hire. But all bull shitting aside, I have been impressed with the level of play LSU has maintained over the years, I thought y'all were dead in the water 5 years ago. You've maintained your identity (strong D-Line, and running game) and you're a force to be reckoned with every year. I don't bother posting about Auburn, Ole Miss, Georgia, or Arkansas for a reason. They may have a flash in the pan year, but I have been impressed with the consistency your program has shown. frick y'all for that!

Yeah right, because historically LSU has always been better than Bama without Saban. It took one of Bama's worst time periods, after a crippling probation, for LSU to make a run into national prominence. That just so happened to be Jump Started by Saban. Besides those relatively few years compared to the, whole, Bama has always been a significantly better program. Hell for 30 years straight Bama was undefeated in Tiger Stadium. Which, ironically, a Saban lead LsU team broke that streak.

This notion that Bama will fall off the mountain top when Saban retires is just not based in reality. Sure Bama will miss him and will have some transition issues but its very doubtful that somehow LSU will automatically become the class of the SEC. Heck I'd give UF or Au just as much or more of a chance than LSU. UT wont be down forever either.

Face it, Bama has been and will always be in the premiere class of the SEC.

There are a lot of good /great programs in the SEC. Bama just happens to the tops. That's not a dig at LSU, which is a fantastic program, one I respect and love to watch my Alma compete against.
