Depends if clock management becomes an issue at the end of a close game.

40%

If LSU plays like they did against Iowa in the Outback Bowl, Wisconsin will win. If the game was in Madison Wisconsin would likely be favored.

LSU fans have consistently rolled their eyes and largely chalked this up as a sure win, and I have no idea why. Wisconsin is the favorite to win their division and is a potential 10+ win team.

West Virginia is going to finish in the bottom half of the Big XII. Wisconsin is predicted to play for the Big 10 title and a Rose Bowl berth in Indianapolis at season's end.

They aren't even remotely the same thing.

Wisconsin and LSU play the same ball

LSU does it with better athletes.

LSU by 10-14.

Wisconsin returns 11 starters, LSU returns 14.

Iowa had a top 5 defense against a freshman QB with a month of preparation. Comparing them to a defense replacing their entire front seven is a bit of a stretch. I wouldn't say knowledgable LSU fans chalk it up as a sure win, but we'd be favored regardless of location based on talent alone

LSU by 10-14.

Iowa, who Wisconsin beat by three TDs last year, took LSU to the wire. To think that Wisconsin has no chance is borderline lunacy.

Eh, saying LSU is the better team and winning by 10-14=/=saying Wisconsin has no chance.

We kicked the frick out of a&m much more than bama, auburn and mizzou..so obviously we were much better than them all.

And Wisconsin will be facing a true freshman QB in his first start or, I'm sure they hope, Anthony Jennings in his second. No DC is losing sleep over that.

It doesn't take a great defense to slow a one-dimensional offense, which LSU will be for at least the first few games.

LSU is a four point favorite right now. Home field would give Wisconsin at least three additional points, probably more given LSU's QB situation (see the line of A&M vs USC for evidence of this). It isn't a stretch at all to say the game would at least be a pick 'em.

I'm simply saying that there is no logical reason to completely discount Wisconsin, which like it or not many of your fans are doing.

Now we're comparing LSU to a&m..? We have the same necessary replacements on offense and you have an atrocious defense. Once again, uncomparable.

I stopped after hovering over the preview.
Why are Arkansas fans so obsessed with LSU and Wisconsin? Will y'all live vicariously through your coach's former school's success? Wisconsin is nearly 2 whole offseasons removed from Bielema. He doesn't deserve credit for any future success. If he did, then does that mean Chizik deserves some credit for the 2013 Auburn season? These threads aren't even funny anymore.

We're comparing the predicament faced when starting a new QB on the road in his first game. In the hypothetical situation where LSU was playing this game in Madison, the same rules to some degree would be applied by odds makers that are in every similar situation.

Pure speculation at this point. You are replacing all four starting skill position players, though admittedly nobody is concerned about running back. Any LSU fan who isn't concerned about QB or the experience at WR is either lying or not particularly football savvy.

you seem to be really bothered by this

we've been winning for a long long time at this point. we pretty much expect to win every game. Especially when it's not against a blue blood and doubly so when it's OOC. It's just the way it is and Les' record in these situations speak for themselves.

Any LSU fan that witnessed 2011 knows that we'll be alright. But thank you for your unending concern.
