Yes, but the courts and feminism have all but ruined it. Men get a raw deal in it and are constantly at the mercy of the woman and the courts to not lose everything they have. This has completely thrown off the balance of power in the marriages themselves. However, despite all of the bull shite politics, marriage is absolutely a valid institution. It is a noble cause to devote your life to another person and to raising children with that person.

But if you marry someone that you trust, are faithful, and plan to be with that person "til death do you part" how is feminism and the courts ruining marriage?
You would think knowing the courts could frick you would make people take it more seriously.
