I believe that Florida will sweep the East for a couple reasons: They get Driskel back. Say what you will about him, the kid played well in 2012 and was off to a pretty good start in 2013 until he got hurt. I think this is the year he puts it all together.

This is almost as comical as USCjr thinking Thompson is going to step right in for Shaw because he played well @ Clemson 2 years ago.

I see UF matching up with Auburn in the SECCG but ultimately being one of the first teams left out of the playoff after losing the SECCG to the Tigers and finishing the regular season at 10-3.

Driskel has played good against SEC foes. Thompson has not.

hell if they can win all those games they can surely beat at least one of Bama/FSU.. clearly you need to rethink this.

I don't think it is crazy to think we sweep the East. The only East road games are Tennessee and Vandy.

That's a new one. Excellent effort. Because, of course, one year dictates what happens in the following especially when there's a new OL coach and a new OC.

What happened last time Carolina played in the Swamp?
Florida currently leads the series 24–7–3
SC has won once all time in Gainesville.
This shite is just as relevant, or even more so. Than the B.S. you posted.

So you're saying its like thinking Matty Mauk will be a good QB and Mizzou wont miss a beat right? I mean that's actually harsh on Driskel since unlike Mauk and Thompson he wasn't a spot starter but instead has an 8-1 record as a starter in the SEC and a 12-3 record overall.

I've been thinking Florida will win the East for a while. The offense should make strides and their D is always good. You having them losing to AU in the SECCG makes me agree even more.

I disagree, but I think they will be very good. South Carolina is my pick to win the East.

I think the East is as wide open as it has ever been this season. I would pick UF except for us having to play both Bama and LSU out of the west.

W vs LSU

Why on Earth is this laughable, you play in the Swamp and you guys don't win there all that often. That's at best a toss up game, LSU is Florida's 4th toughest game at worst (After FSU and Bama--both on the Road against better teams than LSU and UGA-- neutral site in a game Boom has issues with)

The East is truly wide open this year. I give a slight advantage to USCe but if the Nov. 15th game against UF is to decide the East, I will go with the Gators at home. An upset win in T-Town could send the team to a big season, (see 1990) or a loss to UT could send it the other direction. Either way, Go Gators.

Ya you're right, it took him 2 plays to score on Florida last year, it will probably take 3 this year.
