Reasons:

1. Steve Addazio
2. Steve Addazio
3. Steve Addazio
4. Percy Harvin
5. Carlos Dunlap

Steve Addazio ran that offense into the ground with his stupid calls.

I'm constantly surprised at how many people on this site consider 09 UF to be one of the "greatest" teams ever.

EDIT: If I recall correctly, Addazio abandoned the run game in the SECCG after the first Q, after UF had decent success running the ball, and he put it all on Tebow's hands throwing it, and obviously that didn't work.

I was never really impressed with 09 Florida. The offense was pretty bad for the most part. When Percy was healthy in 08, that team was unreal. To me Percy was the real special piece of the Florida offense, Tebow was just a well placed piece of the puzzle

Addazio decided not to use our world class speed RBs against Bama's big LBs. Demps had one carry and Rainey had two carries.

I thought this was the worst offensive game plan ever. We had a good rushing attack and if I remember correctly, running backs only touched the ball 4 times or some crazy number.

Bama had the better team that day, we couldn't tackle on D and they wanted it more. The 2009 team was a great team but not to the level of 2008, 2006, 1995, 1996 or even 1984. Better than anything since unfortunately.
