Covington has a lot of positives and the lake area of Mandeville is very nice but I also like Madisonville as well. As for my top spot, it is hard to beat the waterfront in Natchitoches for a small town in Louisiana. I really liked Hot Springs alot. Athens was my favorite town for a road trip. Hermann looks cool in Mizzou.

Agreed, Natchitoches is a great town. I was up there last week and enjoyed it as always.
