quote:
"Miller is a good cover corner — a true cornerback, unlike a couple of the defensive backs UT currently is recruiting — who really impressed Vols defensive backs coach Willie Martinez when he traveled to Texas to see Miller during the spring evaluation period. He has solid (but not elite) size at 5-10, 175 pounds — which speaks to how highly Tennessee thinks of his overall ability — and decent speed. The Vols mostly are involved with taller corners right now, so the fact that he's pretty high on their board at 5-10 tells me a lot about how good they think he might be."

Nice grab by the Volunteers. I had a chance to see him a few weeks back and he has taken his game up another level. It was right after he picked up his Ohio State offer after he went up to Columbus. I'd been hearing he was having a pretty strong spring and he showed really well at a 7on7 tournament in Dallas in early June. I'd been hearing quite a few reports but when I saw him in Dallas at the 7on7 tournament it was pretty evident he had taken his game up a notch.
"He is currently a 5.5 3-star but I see him making a nice jump in the 3-stars in the next evaluation meetings. He was at the top of his game. He had a nice swagger to him that day. He was often assigned the other team's top guy and he won far more than he lost. He has some nice long arms and fluid hips. He was quick out of his break and while he was aggressive he was always under control. He's also a hard worker and plays for a great high school program in Dallas.
