Lots of indicators lately that DTV & Comcast are very close. The last few smaller cable companies that have closed the deal have increased the pressure on the major players to get it done so it's looking better every day for those saddled with the foot-draggers.
Edit: I see Comcast has announced so I'm betting DTV can't hold off much longer.

Todays press release from Comcast says they're more than close, they've already made it official.
