I'll be shocked if Marshall misses a single down in our game. Gus is too puss to suspend him.

And I agree that in all the years of being under the radar, this is by far the lowest we've been touted.

We should've beat LSU on the road last year and won a few others as well.

I personally like it, go for the no respect angle, usually works wonders

No way do I see Gus suspending Marshall for your game. If they were playing Southcentral Idaho State A&M, then maybe. But he won't for Arkansas.

As for the OP, I'm excited about what Bert is doing. It all starts and ends with the lines. The RB's are great, but they lose their effectiveness with no line (to state the obvious). Teams can always find guys to catch the ball if you have a half way capable QB.

This. People look at records and make blanket statements about expectations. People looked at Missouri's shitty arse record in year 1 and assumed it would be more of the same in year 2. What they don't stop to look at is how did that record come around? In our case, we had a win that we blew at UGA. Could/should have won at UF. Syracuse...the team had quit by then.

You guys could/should have beaten Rutgers, were in the A&M game, MSU was OT and like you said, had LSU on the ropes. Arky really wasn't that far from being 7-5 and bowling in Bert's first year. But people don't stop to realize that. They just see the record and don't look deeper than that.
