So what if he's making twice as much, or 3 or 7x as much. Even if he resuscitates Bevo, he still winds up being the king of a second rate conference(at best), tallest pygmy syndrome anyone?

Evidently, it's not a money thing with Saban. Texas has already been surpassed by A&M. SEC is th best conference in CFB. Rebuilding would take 3 to 5 years(till retirement).

If Stoops had an inkling, that this amount had been offered, he would have probably took an early retirement.
