Why does everyone think Austin is some cultural mecca that no one can turn down? Austin, LA, Miami, Tuscaloosa, Auburn and so on and so forth. There's not one whittle of difference to any of these places when it comes to being a football coach. Every single major coach out there has a second home somewhere else for the off season. When these guys go in at 6-7am and leave at 8pm or later every night and on the road as much as they are, the probably have no clue about the surrounding areas away from campus. I would almost bet anything that location outside of campus means very little to them, if anything.

agree with that from a coach's standpoint, but to answer your question....their wives, who, unfortunately, generally can be a very demanding and persuasive bunch
