meh - he didn't need the money. he is set there, and has a good thing going at Bama - plus he had nothing to prove by taking the Texas job.

he would have proved that he is all about money and not about his word.
In the wall street article him and his wife pretty much stated that they were going to stay at Bama no matter what. Even referred to the tornado.
If he said that and then bailed then he would have confirmed all that was said about him back in 2007.
