Yeah that number is made up. They couldn't get Saban, and since that make-believe contract will never be put on paper, it's time for Texas boosters to do what they do best- brag about how much money they have, exaggerated many times over, of course.

most likely scenario to me as well. texas boosters want to make sure everyone knows how much money they have

I don't think $10M/yr for 10 years is outside the realm of possibility considering Bama is paying him $6.9 and UTA is paying Strong (their likely 3rd or 4th choice) $5M
