At some point I would hope the normal bama fan would stand up to the wackjobs and just say no. That's too far and an embarrassment to the team you support.

It's like some of these idiots are proud of how moronic they can be.

And what would you have us do, vote in our fans? Make the fan base an Alumni-exclusive group? Look, none of us give a frick about our crazy fans. We can't do anything to stop it. I bet he has never even set foot on this campus. I don't feel embarrassed, why should I? I have no relationship with this man in anyway whatsoever, so I'm not responsible for his actions. I can't spend the rest of my life being ashamed of Billy-Bob Redneck from buttfrick nowhere Alabama just because we root for the same team.

There needs to be leadership on this, from the school, the coaches, the state government. Alabama fans need to stop excusing these as isolated incidents...they're not.

There's a clear trend, and a significant portion of the fan base actually cheering these types of actions as they occur. Which means that they will not only continue to occur, but escalate.

It would be better if the school and the state did something now, rather than after some tragedy caused by a crazed Alabama fan...and it seems you can't separate "crazed" and "Alabama fan" these days.
