Go speak with a recruiter. Be up front with them on your condition and see if it's even an issue. If it is, ask about getting a waiver.
I've been where you're at, joined the military, got some structure and changed my life. Now I'm married and have been fortunate enough to be successful. By my standards at least. So can you.
Stop feeling sorry for yourself and be proactive and productive in turning it around. I come from a huge family full of drug attics, murderers(multiple) and people with a completely wrong outlook on life. Trust me, it can be done. The people you surround yourself with will play a huge role in how much success you have. Cut off the loose ends and move on. Get off the drugs and set goals. At the end of the day you have to look yourself in the mirror and answer for where you're going and what you've done. It's easier with a clear conscience.
Look up Dr. Wayne Dyer and buy his audio cd The Power of Intention. It was huge in my turn around 5 years ago. Hopefully it can be in yours as well.
Good luck

Any current meds will be an issue. I looked up that drug he is taking and for a recruiter there will be a lot of questions that will follow of why.
Just finished my 3 years of recruiting and honestly I never frauded any medical issues, but hey applicants and other recruiters do it all the time. If you really wanted to enlist and or this was a last option (which military shouldn't be a last option thing) get off of the drugs for 90 days, see how you're doing and go talk to a recruiter. You will have to not bring this medical condition or drug usage up because like I said more questions will come and you will be disqualified.
Good luck though! If you have anymore enlistment questions let me know.
