I can slightly understand this. However, at the same time, LSU played for a national title in 2011. UGA was one play away from playing for one in 2012. USCe just hasn't been that yet close yet.

What kind of stupid logic is that? Especially with a new postseason format, anything can happen.

Please come up with better reasoning than "Well South Carolina hasn't done it before, so they won't. Because, reasons."

Why? Preseason bullshite is based on preseason bullshite. Period.

I could talk about how your CBs and pass rush are both a giant question mark and how that's a bad combination. An especially bad combination considering 2 of your first 3 games are against aTm and UGA - everybody seems to think highly of their WR groups.

I could talk about how you can't beat AU and you play them at AU.

I could talk about how you have one win in the Swamp ever that I know of and you go there this year.

I could talk about how you don't get extra time to prepare for UGA like you have in past years. I could talk about how we don't have anybody suspended for this game like we have in past years. I could talk about how we do have extra time to prepare for this game unlike past years. I could talk about how Richt has never lost in Columbia when Lattimore isn't on the roster.

I could talk about how I think your running game will regress because you don't have a QB to split carries with Davis and take the pressure off of him.

But I've been assured by Cack fans that this is all minor, so I'm expecting 12-0.

I was just trying to explain OP's reasoning for having "maybe" beside USCe.
