I'm reading "season tickets."
You think Arkansas is responsible for Red Raiders selling out non-Ark games?
Wow.
That is impressive.

The only way to ensure a ticket to that game is to buy season tickets...

Well most school don't sell single game tickets when you have a home slate of big interest games, and they especially don't when you have a OOC game with a power conference.
They make you buy the whole season to get the good game that you want.
So scalpers buy more season tickets because they know they can make that investment back off a couple big games when a team like Arkansas that has a reputation for traveling really well and packing the house (this is a big reason for Arkansas' apparent lack luster record in bowls, we typically get better bowls and against big name opponents that have a better team on paper. The draw of Arky money and national attention gets us into bowls against better teams than we'd be playing if we were a Texas A&m or Tennessee)
Big traveling fanbases have also learned that it's cheaper to buy early, buy the season package and sell off the other games on ticket exchanges rather than buy an inflated ticket for just one game. If there's other games of big interest that season you can pay for the tickets, and your trip by selling to the schmucks that didn't buy early and are left to buy from scalpers.
