Cox Communications announces it will carry the SEC Network.

Cox Communications announced Wednesday it will carry the SEC Network in all its markets when the network hits the airwaves next month.
The SEC Network and its accompanying digital platform, which launches Aug. 14, will air more than 1,000 live events in its first year, including at least 45 exclusive SEC football games. The network is owned by Disney, which also owns ESPN.
