I don't think so. They lost more than just Johnny, they also lost two other guys on offense that were drafted ahead of him. Not to mention what will still be a weak defense.

They are undoubtedly moving in an upwardly direction for the future though, and Johnny surely helped the program long term.

While what we lost is absolutely true. The impact of that loss is what is replacing them. For example, lets say you had a team that had Peyton Manning and Tom Brady. If one goes down to injury, its not that big of a deal.

QB, WR, and OL are the most talented positions on our roster so those losses wont be felt as much as people think. I know JFF's amazing plays are always on the forefront but its not like every single play he made was impossible. He throws bubble screens and other simple throws that a lot of QBs can make.
