The future of SCAR's athletic programs ...

We have a very strong AD in Ray Tanner. We've got excellent facilities and they continue to improve every year.
Football - Spurrier is entering his tenth season at SCAR. Before he leaves we will be rock solid and stable for continued success and competing for titles. Hell ... we already are.
Baseball - a consistent Top Ten program. Omaha or bust.
Men's Basketball - we trust in that crazy frickin' Frank Martin. It's a couple of years away - but he's the right crazy-man for the job.
Women's Basketball - Dawn Staley will win a National Championship at SCAR in the near future.
Just wanted to get all of that out of the way.
Oh, and fwiw, our Equestrian team is top 3 in the country every year and winning National Championships.
We're a year or two away for competing for national championships in both men's and women's golf and tennis.
Dgaf about gymnastics.
We're steadily improving at swimming.
Track and field is above average but we need to improve there and should with the new facilities.
Dgaf about gymnastics.
About to compete for national championships in women's soccer.
Waiting for everyone else to join us in men's soccer ... but really dgaf if you do or not.
Dgaf about gymnastics.
Here's the most important thing.
We'll never stop until we're Big 4 or 5 or 6 or whatever.
When we joined this league we we're told that we could never compete. That SEC programs were too far ahead. That catching-up would be impossible because none of those ahead of us were sitting still.
We'll never stop. 22 years later and we are just getting started. That's what Holtz saw in us, what Spurrier saw in us, what Dawn Staley saw in us ... we will not stop endeavoring to one day be one of the big boys in the SEC on every level.
That's the future of South Carolina Gamecocks Sports.
Thank you SEC. When Paul Dietzel got us out of the ACC, expanded the stadium, hired Bobby Richardson as our baseball coach, etc., he told us one day we would be in the SEC and the rest would be up to us.
Thank you SEC.

TL:DR
Y'all will continue to be a solid football program and a championship contending baseball program. Who gives a frick about basketball

If SOS coaches through 16. He'll will equal his time at UF. If , and it's a big if he gets a title, which school will he still be associated after retirement?
