It's basically capable of following you around the stadium once you are in range depending on how many beacons they install. It works on bluetooth so each beacon only has a short range.

They'll most likely use it to shove marketing material down your throat. It'll know when you enter the stadium, walk by a concession, stand in line at the restroom, sit in your seat, etc.

With that kind information, they can do a lot of cool/annoying stuff in real-time like displaying the concession/restrooms with the shortest lines and offering discounts on drink/food when you walk by a concession or sit in your seat too long...
