You live in Bham? We float the Cahaba all the time. Plenty of rope swings and such. Plenty of parks going in along the river. Never had anyone hassle us about beers.
After that the Locust Fork around Garden City is nice.

While Ichetucknee Springs, is a very beautiful place, it ain't Orlando. It's located deep in Cracker Country and is home to all of Florida's wildlife that will eat you or inject you with venom. Should you decide to visit this place keep this in mind and stay off the shore line. Other than that it's a fun place to be.

Girl in my complex got all sick from a bacterial infection when she went last weekend, but I think she has a horrible immune system as she is always sick. Anywhere to rent tubes or Kayaks on the Cahaba, also where is the best place to load in/load out?
