For Vandy, The call on Ramik Wilson and Ray Drew in the very same game was not only bad it was downright embarassing to watch.
Ray Drew should have been called for a late hit for his late shove. This is not what targeting was designed for and this happened in the fist quarter.
This call was downright criminal. Cost us the game even though the season was lost at this point it was still a horseshite call.

It was a bad call, but LOL at "cost us the game". Georgia was leading 27-14 with 13 minutes left in the game at the time that penalty occurred. So we're talking about a drive-extending penalty in a game you're leading by 2 TDs early in the 4th quarter. That is not much different than BS pass interference or defensive holding calls that extend drives all the time. The bad longsnap near your own end zone later in the quarter was far costlier. Georgia's continued obsession over this only demonstrates how infrequently they're on the receiving end of bad calls.
