Intelligent Design is totally acceptable to me.
The Universe is probably 13.7 billion years old and the Big Bang is a reasonably theoretical starting point for our current period of time. It all started somewhere. Life is still a mystery. We all have souls. There is a God.
Science is a religion, so is Atheism.

It annoys me when people say this.
Religion, by definition, requires the worship of a deity. Worshipping idols or an idea (not that scientists worship science, but we'll just go with it here) is not religion.
