Spot on Reedus, schematically though Steck has no clue on how to scheme vs the option, ala the Navy bowl game, sure the LBers were not athletic enough but that was compounded by the fact that they were in a formation that let AU OL climb to the 2nd level at will.

I hear ya Tackle, but I think he does know HOW to scheme against it. He made the changes for a short period and it worked. I think his problem is that he carries that militaristic mentality that says I will beat you down doing it my way. Almost makes it worse that he seems to have known, but refuses and is too stubborn to do it. Almost like he thinks it's a sign of defeat or failure to actually have to make the change.
