A bit of that, playing catch-up bc of the early recruiting cycle (ironically what Mack crushed), and Strong has had difficulties making inroads with high school coaches.
Strong from my understanding has roots in the east coast, Florida areas whereas Sumlin has been in Texas in some form over a decade- he has major ties.

Should have posted the Cotton Bowl where the Wrecking Crew stonewalled Bo Jackson at the goal line!
