Of course, I don't believe hailstate would shred us either. Our secondary is an embarrassment of riches and the front seven should be better with linebacking core having experience.

Bison, props to you for still hanging out since 2011. But remember State's running Triple Option Spread. They only really go vertical in Merlin's offense when they see Zero high safety looks. That's when they run the chunk/constraint play. They are gonna chuck it and throw the intermediate and use space underneath with the Splits.
Definitely not the Air Raid variant of the Spread. Far better offense than you give them credit for, and I think you may be favoring your Secondary when their running game and their QB decision making is what will cause problems for you.
