I worked for walmart and they treat people terrible. I worked my way up to manager only to be cut to 20 hours a week in the slower seasons which wasn't enough to live off of.
Only time I was ever allowed overtime was when they shipped several of us to a store in dallas that was fire damaged. Reason they shipped us in was because the workers in dallas made 3 time as much money so walmart shipped in cheap labor from out of state

i worked there in college for awhile and had no issues whatsoever but i was pretty much working for spending money and that was it. i'm surprised they cut a manager to 20 hours? i can imagine that would be impossible to live on.
