I tend to agree. It's really tough to compare these two because of the defense Greene had and the weapons Murray had, like you mentioned. It's tough to tell how much better or worse either would have done had the roles been reversed.
If I'm going by the eye test, I would take Murray probably, but it's really tough to argue against Greene's W/L record.

Agreed. Switch the defenses and you might have two completely different teams/outcomes.

I was leaning toward Greene due to the fact he broke records and won the SEC championship. I didn't really look at the defense angle...his record W/L all four years was a lot better though than Murray's. Given the defense aspect I'd have to agree.
