How good is Lorenzo Ward?
Versus the SEC
2011 (Ellis Johnson): 16.9 ppg allowed and 268 ypg
2012 (Ward): 21.1 ppg allowed and 302 ypg
2013 (Ward): 22.3 ppg allowed 346 ypg
Things could have been worse (Grantham). But is Ward as good as Gamecocks think he is?
His promotion always smelled like Willie Martinez 2.0 to me.

2012 LSU and Tennessee made his defense look silly. Michigan scored 28.
Georgia made them look bad last season, but that was week 2. Wisconsin ran over them in the bowl game. Inexperience can't be used as an excuse in that game.
