ESPN is not to blame for milking every damn dime out of the cable companies so that your program has the best facilities and resources.

Who do you think makes all this possible, cable companies/satellite providers? Nope,.....it's you and I. I'm not defending my satellite provider by any means, but, ESPN is not playing nicely either.

You should be able to just pick your channels based on what you actually watch and pay accordingly but the US Government won't let that happen.

Agreed, our fanaticism drives this business model. SEC Network is the gun, we are the bullet.

It honestly isn't fair that because we are so loud of a minority that we can force the majority to pay for our facilities, but life isn't fair.

And it shouldn't.

The WHOLE point of this network and SEC expansion is to take our base of crazy fans and use it to milk the crap out of the cable providers in the SEC footprint.

If ESPN wasn't involved it would still be the same deal. Heck, this business model of charging more for a network within the footprint is copied directly from the B1G Network (that has no ESPN involvement). ESPN just does it better than anyone else.

This is business, not patty cake time.
