Seriously, just look at his 2010 and 2011 classes -- which should be making up the bulk of the RS Sr, Sr., and RS Jr classes -- and how many of those guys either never hit campus or didn't make it a year before leaving or getting bounced. I used to know the exact number, but something like 15 guys from those two classes weren't on the roster by the time we played the 2012 Cotton Bowl. And yet, somehow last year is totally on Bert, despite the fact that several of our linebackers were either walk-ons, former walk-ons or true freshmen.

Yes.

If a decent class (2007) followed by a great class (2008) can lead to 21-5, what does 3 straight sub-par classes do to a roster?

I know, I know, Jeff Long's fault.

So far CBB has put together 2 very good classes and is working on what appears to be a great class.

Of the seniors, redshirt or true, the only stud I see is Flowers, with serviceable guys like Cook and Mitchel in there. Of the juniors, the only stud is Jonathan Williams, with some serviceable guys like Gaines and Hines in there. You really don't start getting into the quality players until you hit the sophomore group, who were either recruited by or flourished under the current staff.

Yes. Going of past tendencies and results for the program based on class of contributors, 4-8 wins is a realistic possibility, any win total is likely to see games lost that should of/could of been won.

Next season and the year after (and the year after) should be capable of 10+ wins each.

This based on bad seasons being led by Sophs and Freshmen (for the most part) and great seasons led by Juniors/Seniors (for the most part).
