Played against Ingle in basketball, as well as David Harrison in scrimmages leading up to the State Tournament.

When I was a junior in high school, we made the Final 4 and played White Station. Dane Bradshaw absolutely killed us as a freshman. We just weren't ready for him. Shelton had 25 points or so, but he did it so quietly. You feel like you are doing good guarding him, then you check the box score at the end of the game and he has 25. Amazing player.

Beat Mario Moore (Antioch, and later Vandy) in the first round that year.

Senior year lost to Gallatin High School and Wesley Morgan in the first round, who I believe rode the pine for Miss St. for several years. 7 foot plus who was mostly all size. Not a lot of skill, but just average.
