Evidence of what happens when you go 25-9-2 in Baton Rouge and 48-25-5 overall against them in football...hell, I'd hate us, too!

My hatred for Alabama has nothing to do with the overall record. I couldn't care less about it. It has everything to do with what I've seen from their redneck fan base since 2007. And in that time period, LSU and Bama have had relative parity going heads up.

None. I love LSU more than I hate any other school and if LSU needed someone to win o get us to the SECCG or a BCS Bowl or whatever the case may be, I'm going to root for that team like hell.

Really?...has nothing to do with how things have turned out between the two, huh? ...oookie-dookie then.

There are circumstances where I could root for any team

But I can't stand LSU, State, and Arkansas

It's been over 2 years, time to let it go.

I can honestly say I have cheered for all the teams sans Florida.

Same to ya. I cannot envision any circumstance that make me root for The Leghumpers in any sport. Not even if they threatened to slaughter UGA IX at the end of the game.

There is no team I would never root for if it helped Auburn but in any other case I'd never root for Bama.

I think eye got the gist of it. Thank god for LSU.

There is not an SEC that I would not root for.

Can Pull for LSU against all teams except Auburn.

One of the things I didn't like about the BCS series it was necessary to root for other teams in conference. I have never wanted to root for other conference teams especially traditional rivals. The BCS required it because Georgia winning a bowl game helped their perception the following year which helped Auburn if they won tDSOR during that season, etc…

That being said I have rooted for Alabama and Georgia for various reasons.

Rooted for Bama in 1992 against Miami. Still the best college defense I have ever seen. Rooted for Georgia against Alabama 2012 SEC Title Game. Exceptions to all rules.

If it was UF vs. Hitler's Germany I'd be conflicted.

Which SEC team would you not root for no matter the circumstances?

Bama. Living here in East Central MS and having to listen to their bandwagon, redneck fans who don't know a player on the team sucks. It's hard when Bama plays Ole Miss, but I suck it up and become a Bear for the day. An Ole Miss Black Bear that is, not a Bama Bryant.
Damn! You live in Mississippi and talk as if you were in Tuscaloosa!....so The Tide's following is that strong over there, huh? I guess folks just crave winners...whatever. Oh, are those folks that you're calling rednecks, your neighbors?

I wish these Walmart alums I am talking about were moved out of Mississippi to Alabama. We could save plenty of money for the government, and our test scores would go up, but I guess it would hurt the local economy because all the shops that sell Alabama window decals would probably close. These are not fans to be proud of. No, they aren't my neighbors. My neighborhood is mostly State fans with a few Rebs. Most all went to school at one or the other. These Bama winners are the trailer trash, government assisted, high school drop outs that are the dregs of society. The few, three actually, Bama fans I work with that actually graduated from there are pretty cool fans. It's these others that make Bama fans look bad.

I assume this is a reference to 1/9/12? If you think my dislike for Alabama stems from that game, you are sadly ill informed about general LSU sentiments toward Alabama. I have despised them since 2008 really.

That Alabama crushed us in the BCSCG is undeniable. I don't hate them at all for that. That was one of the most pathetic offensive performances I've ever seen in my life. My bitterness from that game is geared squarely on the shoulders of Miles and Jefferson.

Before the internet? None - I enjoyed it when the South represented.

After the internet? Frick all of you. I've seen way too many "scum of the earth" fans for each fan base to enjoy watching any of them win anymore.
