The West is stronger than the East, but the East isn't some terrible division

Some of you act like the East is on CUSA level.

I can't believe I heard a poster seriously say "If Ole Miss and MSU were in the East, they'd be contenders"

The East is still the 2nd best division in college football, and the West hasn't always been the premier division.

You don't have two top 5 teams in one division at the end of the year by being terrible.

Aren't the 2 divisions 11-11 against each other in the SECCG?

Ole Miss

I wouldn't be completely shocked if they won the West this year.

The East is a strong division - the conference title has resided in the West for a while though. Tables could turn this year though.

We wouldn't win the whole thing but we'd be top 2-3 IMO.

It is solid, but Ole Miss and Miss St would possibly contend... Yall let Missouri win the division... That shows me that OM could.

The East's two premier programs won less than 10 games combined last season.

It's cyclical.

Mizzou won the division. That should tell you all you need to know.

I'm growing tired of the preseason hype that these two shitcan programs are receiving by the media and some posters on this site. The thought that either of these programs is somehow superior to their East counterparts is laughable, and quite frankly fricking ridiculous.

I don't GAS if you brought in the #1 recruiting class a few years ago according to ESPN or that Joe Schad says you have a Pro-Bowl caliber Dline, it still won't win you very many games.

You'll never be Alabama. You'll never be LSU, Florida, Mizzou, Georgia, etc.

I can see it now. Auburn beats Carolina, and Bama fans start the resounding SEC WEST! cheer..
