No its not. Not in the mind of A&M. Sumlin is the 2nd highest paid coach around.

if you swapped the LSU defensive roster with the A&M defensive players from last year, you believe LSU would have been just as good or better defensively

Talent is an advantage. Its not the end all be all. If you gave Saban a bunch of toddlers he isnt going to be able to beat a CFB team. This really isnt a hard concept. If the players are irrelevant than why do coaches go after players they think are more talented??

Uhhhhh, Mack Brown was making money hand over fist. That doesnt mean anything. I like what I've seen from Sumlin but I would like to see more than 2 years of success at big boy football before I crown him, thats all.

Lsu getting Campbell
seriously?

I'm not sure why you're characterizing him as "lucky."
NFL scouts characterized him as such. Watch the film, throws later across body over the middle however hes very talented just had luck too. No problem with that. LSU knows luck they've got LES!

Bama squad and those ULSU tigers will no longer have a talent advantage to beat up on others.
talent isnt always an advantage. Coaching is the advantage. See Bama vs OU. Dont get caught up in the stars, the best DT of possible all time in LA HS football went undrafted last year after being the Gatorade HS player of the year. Megatron was a two star and so was brandon marshall for crying out loud

Kyle Allen could be the second coming of Aggie Christ (Manziel) and still wouldn't have the offensive line or half the luck Manziel had.
It's looking like you're correct.
It may very well be better.

A very good OL/RB's/Receivers will make even an average QB look good. The receiving talent the Aggies are bringing in is sick (Lodge and others).
The winner of the QB competition will be looked at as one of the SEC's rising stars by midseason.
Won't be suprised if A&M is scoring 40 points a game again this year.
