it's turned baseball at the CWS into what team is the luckiest, waiting for the other team to make an error, or trying to score without having the ball leave the infield. it's basically turned into college softball. even one of the guys on the committee stated if they had known the effect the new bats would have, they would have planned the new stadium differently. ironically, the first year at TDA was the first year of BBCOR bats.

They need to use the same bats the pros do. The difference makes it harder for college players to acclimate to the minors than it is for players straight out of high school.
