I love how everyone constantly says that UGA has no instate rival to recruiting, completely ignoring the fact that the most populous center is a city of transplants from all over, and has the largest alumni clubs of just about every southern university, and thus very little pre-existing relationship to the state's university. Not to mention that Gainesville and Tallahassee are far closer to South GA footballs hubs than Athens, west GA is closer to Auburn, and North GA has UT/Clemson right at the backdoor. Far from having no rivals, UGA is constantly fighting wars on 4 fronts.
