Seems like a trade off between travel distance and schools that would actually fund a team and support it. I am going out on a limb and observing the MS schools would be least likely to get teams. AL schools are probably next and UGA is so tight on money just can't see them opening the wallets for soccer.

If you have to start with a core of 4 and travel + support then I would go with Cocks and Cats and add Mizzou and Dores.
