You already got a tangent in that last post of how hard it will be for the SEC. Cocks benefit from being in the ACC sphere and UK benefits from being at the crossroads of multiple conferences. If it expands it will be based on youth soccer - at competitive levels - and reaching critical mass. My candidates for the next 4 to pick it up would be :

Vanderbilt - can benefit from Louisville, Indiana, and Notre Dame all being straight up I - 65. Nashville is a big enough of a city and Vandy should be easily able to attract B1G and ACC games.
Mizzou - Like UK, they sit in a strategic spot to play B1G and B12 schools with teams. Fill in with MVC and A10 type schools and should be enough to draw from high schools in a 200 - 300 mile radius.
Texas A&M - City of Houston and State of Texas should be a no brainer
Florida - Location to ACC schools and strong overall sports programs should make getting a program up and winning more probable.

I think you need 4 schools for the SEC to recognize and 6 to 8 to really make a go of it.

Mizzou, aTm and UF are on the fringe of the conference though. Adding them and Vandy to UK and USC would be strange.

If travel distance is a concern then I think adding schools in the middle of the conference would make more sense.

I think it'd be smart to get as many schools as possible that are within reasonable driving distances first: UGA, Auburn, UT, Bama, Vandy, MSU, Ole Miss plus UK and USC make 9

LSU, Mizzou, aTm, UF and Arkansas are all around 300 miles away from the closest school in the conference. I don't think they would join unless a conference was not only already up and running, but doing well. Although I could see UF and maybe LSU not caring
