re: Kentucky folk, where would the best backcounty hiking be on Kentucky Lake?

Red River Gorge is a possibility, but that's about 4.5 hours from me and we're trying to get there in enough time to set up camp before dark after work on Friday. Kinda why we chose LBL. This is all on a whim.

After firing up the google machine though, I certainly want to try out RRG.
