I think I need to hear from our esteemed colleague, the right honorable Razorback Reverend, before I weigh in on this matter. But I'm inclined to think it should be county-by-county as it is now.

I really wouldn't have a problem if they came up with a legitimate casino gambling proposal as opposed to the snake oil salesman proposals they generally drum up every few years.

The state should run casinos, like they run the lottery. Every proposal we get is from some out of state outfit that wants all of the proceeds.

I'd support casinos in Hot Springs with the proceeds going toward education or economic development elsewhere.
