Alabama - A football program by which all others are measured. The true flagship of the SEC IMHO.
Auburn - I've always envied their RB tradition.
Arkansas - Frank Broyles recruited my oldest brother so I've always sort of liked them while Coach Broyles was around. He was good to married players.
Florida - Foley is the finest AD in the conference IMHO.
Kentucky - basketball tradition is rich, plus they're home to The Derby.
Ole Miss - have considered them SC's rival in the West, and it goes back a ways but those games in the 70s were what solidified it for me.
MSU - Underrated fan base, underrated facilities.
LSU - the toughest place to play on a Saturday night in the country.
UGA - they are solid every year. They seem to never have a down year where you can chalk them up as an automatic win - even when they are average. While they have certainly underachieved at times, they've never been mediocre and have always, in my lifetime, been consistent winners. That's something very difficult to do in the SEC.
Mizzou - I liked the fans of theirs that I met when they came here two seasons ago.
Texas A&M - a good addition to the league. Glad to finally have the state of Texas in the SEC. It was long overdue and furthermore, I think we got the right Texas school.
Vandy - they've done more with less than any program in the country IMHO, although it hasn't shown at times because of the conference they endeavor to compete in.
UT - General Neyland.
