No insight with this situation,... But I'm certain there is an expectation to self report these types of incidents. The perception of self reporting is that there isn't a lack of control. If Foley finds out about a "bump" violation from Yahoo!, I think it's clear why he was asked to "resign". It makes Joker look sneaky and Foley/Muschamp appear clueless.

Again, no idea if a recruit ran into Joker at Moe's and slipped into his booth, or if Joker was treating someone to a lobster dinner. But, i think things would be different had this been self reported.

One of the talking heads on The Mother Ship said that he had talked to several HC's around the country & all considered this to be a major violation & one that they would have all reported to the NCAA. Wining & dining a recruit during the dead period is a huge no no according to his sources. It was reported by the UM according to his other sources.
