I think it all depends on whether this was just a 'bump' in which case Joker shouldn't have resigned because that's minor or if this was straight up recruiting during the dead period which can be considered a major violation. I just can't bring myself to believe that Joker resigned over a bump. He's well liked and that's a minor secondary infraction.

Consider this too: although Leak was of course a good QB, he has no coaching experience - he's been a GA. Trying to jump start UF's O with a new OC and new offensive system, you don't want to be forced to hire your GA in JUNE no matter how smart or good he is. IOW, Muschamp would likely have kept Joker on if he thought this were just a 'bump.'
