How come mizzou still gets no respect

Even after a 12-2 season in the best conference in football and a cotton bowl victory there is still no respect for mizzou. Why is this?

Because it kinda feels like a Big 10 team won the SEC east. Its weird. I think we're all kind of ignoring you, like America ignores Canada.

With do respect, Mizzou did good, however winning a championship is what it is all about SEC or National, so win a few of those and maybe some respect will go your way!!!!!!!!!

I think Mizzou is as respectable as any team that went 12-2 in the weaker side of the conference. But I want to see what yall follow it up with this season before granting any contestant level of respect.
