Ricky Parks was in line to take over for Jay Prosch this year.

Well, to be fair, one look at your depth chart at TE and I have to ask...who was supposed to stop him from taking over the position? He isn't any good, but all he had to do was beat out Uzomah ( ) and a bunch of walkons.

So is it considered a good thing when you kick players off he team now for disciplinary reasons?

This has nothing to do with that conversation, but it depends on the team, player, and depth chart. If you have the personnel to fill the hole left and the player and team will be better off separate, then yes it is good. If the team/player will suffer from this, then it is not good.

Marshall would have started at S for us. He was never going to play QB beyond some at wildcat, FTR. He was a great talent that would still be our starter back there this year had he not screwed up.

Park, ideally, would never have seen the field for you guys, but thanks to horrible depth would have had to in the formations that required his position. What I really think would have happened (and still will) is that Gus would be running far fewer plays requiring a TE.

Two very different situations and "Ricky Parks" does not answer the question that was meant to be asked, which was more like, "When is the last time Auburn kicked a player that mattered, who was actually going to be a big piece of the team, out of school?" It is easy to throw a guy off the team you wanted to get rid of anyway when he gives you the excuse like Parks did Gus, but not easy when you actually need that player like UGA did Tray or Nick.

Uzomah and Fulse. They'll both play TE and HB. Parks would have done the same thing.

It's sounds like it does. Was the question not posed as if Uga kicks players off their team,as if it's considered a good thing the players are bad enough they need to be booted.

I don't know about you but if auburn has to kick a player off the team. That's not a good thing. It's a sign something went wrong.

There seems to be lots of delusion from one side here about the fact that their team is morally better.

Uzomah that made two clutch catches last year? Yeah, that is funny. So Brandon Fulse is a walk-on now? All this time I thought of him as a top 150 player coming out of HS. Interdasting...

1) Jay Prosch wasn't a tight end
2) Ricky Parks would have been our h-back
3) I didn't know Brandon Fulse was a walk-on
4) CJ Uzomah is one of the better tight ends in the conference, and made a lot of clutch catches last year

You really are fricking clueless, aren't you?

Aren't you the same guy that was saying Cam Artis-Payne only got an offer from Auburn because he was a coaches son? And that Peyton Barber was terrible?
