Yes, it essentially added another hurdle to getting back on the team. If the team said "no" even if the coaches were alright with him coming back, he couldn't come back.

So if the players said "we're ok with it", he was allowed to return. If the players said "we don't want him back", he would not have come back.


Sooooooo sounds like his return hinged on a team vote, yes? choctaw said earlier

Sounds to me that the LSU fans have confirmed that, in fact, his return was predicated on a team vote. So now sure how that's incorrect or stupid.
