Wait.. so you didn't rely on this thread for all your information and only as part of finding out the info you wanted??? Amazing.
No I didn't but I can't speak for everyone.

I've never done this. And anyone who did is a moron. And also, I don't believe you.

Do you know what is considered a reputable source these days?
I would say the arresting police force and the player's lawyer, are reputable. Much more than some guy from a local radio show saying he has sources and nobody else reporting it.

Again, his lawyer's comments (the updated ones) were available much sooner than you posted it.
We can just keep going back and forth. I'm on a boring conference call.

Probably would have been very simple to have provided a link. Instead, we've probably pushed this thread to the top another hour and few pages. Something that seems to be of great concern and consternation to a small handful of you.

It has nothing to do with posting for others enjoyment. When you have thousands of people reading a messageboard, and a kid's reputation is at stake, you have an obligation to stay current. It's pretty cut and dry.
Conference call over. Bye.

I completely agree and am still wondering why you didn't.

I suppose you should contact media outlets and tell them not to report arrests until the matter is completely resolved in the courts now.

It's in the OP.

I wasn't aware this case had went to court yet. But the media did in fact update with the current news. That's what i've been telling you.

There.. I even updated the title to reflect both links in the OP now.

I know. "Didn't" is past tense. If you hadn't updated I would have said "I am still wondering why you haven't."

Nice title edit. If a little redundant.

I'm shocked that a defense lawyer would dispute the charges.

HERE
and HERE
Failing to show for an appointment with investigators doesn't help his reputation or his legal case.
quote:
After identifying him as the suspect, investigators contacted Mills, who told them he was in Houston and would not return to Baton Rouge until June 9, for summer school, Coppola said. Mills failed to show for an appointment with investigators Tuesday at 5 p.m. He did not respond to telephone calls that day and a felony warrant was issued for his arrest. Investigators eventually contacted Mills through LSU.
and HERE
quote:
Police contacted Mills by phone May 29 but were told he would not be back in Baton Rouge. An appointment to meet with police was made for Tuesday, June 10, and when Mills neither showed nor responded to further calls, the arrest warrant was issued.
Failing to show for an appointment with investigators doesn't help his reputation or his legal case.
